Every June, hot rod and muscle car enthusiasts converge for the epic week-long road trip known as the HOT ROD Power Tour. This year, the festivities kicked off in Kentucky and ended in Indiana, visiting five cities in four states from Monday through Friday.
With over 6,000 vehicles taking part in the event, Chevrolet is always well-represented. In 2024, the Chevrolet Performance fleet included multiple current-model-year trucks and eighth-generation Corvettes, along with a trio of crate engine*-powered builds.†
A 1967 C10 featuring the Bowtie’s L8P crate engine,* a 1969 Chevelle powered by the SP502/605 crate,* and a 1989 Silverado dually with a ZZ632/1000 crate power plant* under the hood all made the rounds during the 2024 event.
The video below highlights this year’s trip and features insights from several members of the Chevrolet Performance team about their favorite vehicles.
