Make your trailering experience better with trailer camera views

Your vehicle may be equipped with a variety of available camera views designed to help make your trailering experience easier and safer. No todos los vehículos disponen de estas funciones.

Many of these features need you to put your trailer’s dimensions into your trailer profile in the In-Vehicle Trailering aplicación móvil myChevrolet* for them to work or can perform better once you do. Es posible que algunas características deban calibrarse antes del uso.

How to use trailering camera views:

1. Your vehicle may be equipped with a variety of camera views. La cantidad y el tipo de vistas de cámara disponibles variarán según el equipamiento y el tipo de vehículo. 

a. For example, pickup trucks may have Cargo Bed View, but SUVs won’t because they don’t have a truck bed.
b. Transparent Trailer views require a compatible trailer, an accessory trailer camera and available pre-wired trailer accessory integration equipment. Otras vistas necesitan ser activadas en el menú de ajustes o requieren que configures un perfil de remolque.

2. Tap the Camera icon on the Home screen of the center display to access the available views

3. Within the app, the menu bar lets you toggle between available camera views. El aspecto de esta barra del menú variará en función del tipo de vehículo y su equipamiento. 

4. The arrows on the side of the navigation bar provide access to additional views. 

5. Some views will stay on the screen while you’re driving, but some will time out.

6. Additionally, some views will appear automatically when you take certain actions with a trailer connected, such as activating the turn signal.

a. Note: You must enable turn signal activation for the side view cameras in the vehicle’s Settings menu or the In-Vehicle Trailering App.
